How many kids?

2

Did you breastfeed all of them? Till what age?

I breastfed my daughter for 14 months and currently still nursing my 7-month-old son.

Why did you choose to breastfeed?

To give my kids the best start in life and really because it's free!

Did you grow up around breastfeeding?

Nope. My mom formula fed all 4 of us.

Did you have support from family and friends?

Somewhat. Some said I should just give my kids a bottle but I was and am determined to do this for my babies.

Did you have to pump? Did you end up exclusively pumping?

I tried to pump with my daughter but didn't have much luck with it. I pumped some with my son when I went back to work for a while but I'm now staying home with him so I don't really pump anymore.

Anything else about your breastfeeding journey?

I'm just thankful I've been able to do this for my children.

Did your breastfeeding journey come to an end? Why and how?

With my daughter I was just ready to stop and I let her wean herself off and I plan on doing the same with my son.

One thing you wish you knew before you started breastfeeding?

I wish I would have known about cluster feeding! It feels like they're on you all the time.

Do you have any advice for first time moms?

I always tell people to at least try it. It may not be for you but at least give it a try.
