Did you breastfeed all of them? Till what age?
Yes, still going on 9 months.
Why did you choose to breastfeed?
I chose to breastfeed because of the bond I’d share with my son that no one else can have and because of the many benefits breastfeeding has.
Did you grow up around breastfeeding?
No
Did you have support from family and friends?
I do!
Did you have to pump? Did you end up exclusively pumping?
I haven’t had the chance to pump yet.
Anything else about your breastfeeding journey?
Breastfeeding my son has opened my eyes and heart in a way that can’t be described. From remembering his first latch in the hospital room to him now trying to lift my shirt to get his boob. I love when I’m feeding and I’m just staring at him as he plays with my hair or touches my face and I feel like it’s just us in the room but then I look up and I see my mom looking in admiration as she sees how much my son and I adore each other.
One thing you wish you knew before you started breastfeeding?
How demanding it is.
Do you have any advice for first time moms?
When you want to give up because it seems too hard in the beginning, don’t! It gets easier and the bond that gets created is beautiful and unbreakable.
